In any architectural space the areas which require privacy are mostly in the residential type of buildings. Areas that demand privacy can be of following types.

1) Backyard swimming pools
2) Patio
3) Backyard garden which are abutting other houses.

All these and many more areas that require privacy can be partially or fully hidden using landscaping elements.

Actually a simple brick wall can do the job of cutting the view from outside and giving excellent privacy. But a brick or any other wall constructed using solid materials lack some basics.

A brick wall being of solid nature will obstruct wind breeze which may be required in that space. Another point is a brick wall is much more visually unpleasant as compared to a wall screen created using green foliage.

That is why the best way to create a visual screen using landscaping elements is to use crawlers o a wired mesh screen. This type of arrangement blocks the visual connection at the same time allows wind breeze. Another advantage of using such type of design is that if the crawlers are flower bearing they will provide and excellent display of colors during day time.

A low height wall with wired mesh running along it's length can be the basic framework and crawlers running along its length will eventually cover out all the wired mesh forming a green curtain creating enough privacy.
